WHY CAR PARKING SLIDERS?
Car Parking Sliders enables the use of otherwise dead space in a garage or carport by laterally shifting the automobile across a horizontal plane.
Car Parking Sliders comprise of two rigid steel construction platforms with textured non skid surfaces that have pivoting ramps with gas struts. The platforms are guided by surface mounted tracks and have V-groove wheels with heavy duty mounted roller bearings to slide effortlessly. They are powered by a direct driver ½ HP commercial quality, Nord (Germany) motor and helical-worm gearbox, providing constant torque. Platforms are operated via a wall mounted Control Box with Panel & wireless remote control (also via Smart Phone App.) ..

STRUCTURAL DESCRIPTION – What Car Parking Slider Consists of:
- Ridged steel construction platforms allowing most full-sized SUV’s to park on platform .. 2,720 Kg vehicle capacity
- Powder coated (RAL colours) or cold galvanised / Zinc plated low-profile steel tracks
- Textured, non-skid surface
- Pivoting ramps with gas struts
- Direct drive, providing consistent torque
- V-groove wheels with heavy duty mounted roller bearings
- ½ HP commercial quality, Nord motor and helical-worm gearbox
- Control box with Panel & remote controls
Optional: Fully closed Deck Surface &/or Ramps at both ends for ability to drive-over ..
MECHANICAL OPERATION – Slider is Powered by a 0.5 hp NORD (Germany) gearmotor:
- the rigid steel slider platform rolls on four V-groove wheels which are supported by roller bearings
- the Slider is powered by a ½ HP Nord gearmotor and Gearbox output shaft is connected to one of the V-groove wheels
- the driven V-groove wheel propels the slider cart along the tracks translating the slider cart from side to side
- Limit switches are located on each end of the tracks to provide adjustable end travel of the Parking Slider platform
ELECTRIC CONTROLS – Parking Slider Control Unit:
- 240V, Single Phase, 10 Amps, 50Hz
- Simple Push-Button Operation
- Comes with wireless remotes
- Plus can be operated by Smart Phone App.
